Discipleship Zoom Style

We are so proud of our ladies in India, they just completed a 1.5 year discipleship course,the Simple Truth.  We had 28 women we awarded completion certificates for completing this course with us.  Sherry Mears, Michelle Lee and Margie Reynolds hosted the course with the ladies via zoom on a bi-weekly basis.  Priyanka interprets  for the ladies into Hindi and we ended each session with prayer requests from the ladies in India.  In the Indian culture women are normally taught separately than men and do not always get the opportunity to learn like their male counterparts.

Each week as we shared with the women various concepts from the curriculum they in turn shared the teaching with their ladies groups at their home churches.  So each week the teachings reached hundreds of women. The teachings helped the women in their evangelism efforts, they were able to apply and explain the concepts they learned as they shared the gospel with others in the villages.

Pictures are blurred to protect our ladies' identities, as persecution of Christians is high in many villages and since it is illegal to convert to Christianity in India, legal actions, including jail time or imprisonment could result.
