Beauty From Ashes

In November we shared a story with you about a fire that destroyed homes of Pooja and four other families in India. The fire destroyed their dwelling and most of their personal belongings. We reached out to our donors to help rebuild the homes of those that had lost them before hard winter set in.

Through our Beauty from Ashes project in India we were able to raise needed funds to help rebuild housing and replace belongings lost in a devastating fire that left four families without shelter in the middle of winter.  

Thank you to all of you that gave toward “Beauty from Ashes” to rebuilt the homes and restore their belongings. Pooja and the other families expresses such gratitude for such generous contributions toward helping them. Your gift, no matter how large or small can make a difference in the lives of others. Pooja shared with us that this is the first time she had ever had a real bed to sleep in.
