Life in the Village

Simple but Complex

Pastor prays for healing of woman in the village. Village life is hard and their is no electricity or running water in most rural villages. Water must be carried from the local well in pots to each hut daily. Fires are used for cooking daily, as well as for light, heat, and security. During the dry season(no rain) fires must be kept burning at the water well to keep the elephants from destroying the hand pumps in their search for water. Oddly enough many villagers do own cell phones which are charged via solar battery chargers or via vehicle chargers. Some may say life in the village is a collision of “the survivor” vs cell phone commercial, but just because life is hard does not mean their hearts are also hard. God works on the hearts of people no matter where they are at.
